In maths we have been using a new resource called Cuisenaire rods. We explored the size and shape of them by building a ‘staircase’ with them, playing guessing games and making our number pairs to 10.
On Tuesday we were very lucky to be invited to Year 4’s Clarinet concert. The children performed brilliantly and had learnt so much in such a short space of time. Well done year 4!

This week has been Anti-Bullying Week and we have been learning all about how to work as a class team to make sure we look after ourselves. We completed a jigsaw puzzle piece each to represent ourselves and then put the pieces together to make our class jigsaw. Together we are one!
This week was our second week to have a dancing lesson at Danes Camp. We really impressed the adults with our great listening skills, levels of concentration and we remembered lots of the movements from last week!
We were very lucky this morning as we went to the ‘theatre’ to see a performance of Pinocchio. What a great way to start the week!
