Today we made some salt dough in D&T. We practised our kneading skills and how to shape the dough in different ways, ready for when we make bread. We had so much fun getting messy and shaping the dough into turtles, plaits and hot dogs!
Next week we will be holding auditions for the SdS Has Got Talent show! Rowling class will have their auditions on Tuesday afternoon. If you would like to participate and share your talent, make sure you get practising your act this weekend! Looking forward to seeing you shine! ⭐️
We have started reading Fantastic Mr. Fox this week. We imagined that Farmer Boggis; a filthy, enormous and nasty man; was standing in our classroom. We froze in position to show how we would react towards him. Then we said our thoughts about him aloud.
We have had a truly exciting day today in Rowling class. Sports day this morning and bread tasting this afternoon as part of our D&T topic. Yum!
The PE days for Rowling class for this term are Thursday and Friday. Please ensure that your child has their kit on these days.
This morning was Sports day for Key Stage 2. Rowling class wore our house colours with pride and competed in our house teams. The children showed great determination (even at the end when they were getting tired) and had lots of fun! Two of our class members won the running races too!
