Here are our Key skills for the week:

Literacy: This is the year of reading for us all at Simon de Senlis. This week we would like you to enjoy a fiction book. You may want to go to the library or read a book you have at home. Can you answer the following questions about your book? Please write down your answers.

  • How would you describe the main character?
  • How could you compare this book from the last one you read? Which one did you prefer? Why?
  • If you were the author, how would you change the resolution in the story?
  • Do you agree with the way the main character behaved or acted in the story? Why?

Mathematics: We have been learning about fractions. Please complete the fractions sheet in your book.

The main charachter is chicken licken
he looks fluffy, soft and he is an
    agile and curious learner.

I would prefer chicken licken because
    it has adjectives,similies,adverbials
    and lots of punctuation
but the other book was boring it did’nt
    have any adjectives,similies,adverbials
    and not one punctuatian

I would say just use two more
    adjectives to describe the fox

I like how the chicken has acted
because when he thinks the sky is falling he acts furious
and thats how he should act
