Today we have been learning about symmetry. Using peg boards and cubes, we have made our own symmetrical patterns, making sure our pattern reflects perfectly around our lines of symmetry.
After digging up some ‘Ancient Roman’ pottery, we then had a go at making our own clay pots by rolling out sausage shapes and coiling them into a pot shape!
Yesterday we had a very exciting day in Year 3. We became archaeologists and followed a set of clues to our group’s ‘digging site’. Then we dug up some pottery and tried to put it back together! What was your favourite part and why?
